Arrange solid, liquid, gas on the basis of intermolecular space between the particles in ascending order.
Solid<liquid<gas
The correct order is gas< liquid< solid. This is due to the fact that in gaseous state particles are very far away from eachother i.e. the intermolecular force is least, so they move freely as compared to solid and liquid. So they can intermingle or diffuse easily. Similarly liquids hae more intermolecular spaces as compared to solids.
