The correct option is C (ii)>(iii)>(iv)>(i)>(v) Both (ii) and (iii)are tertiary alcohols, but in (iii), ease of hydration is more due to 1, 2-hydride shift and thus the carbocation so formed is more stabilized as compared to (ii)
Similarly, both (i) and (iv) are secondary alcohols, but in (iv), secondary carbocation can be stabilised to teriary carbocation via 1,2-hydride shift and gives more substituted alkene.
