Arrange the following colours in the increasing order of angle of deviation from a prism.

• B. Blue

• D. Indigo

Colour which appears in upper part of spectrum have greater wavelength and thus have lower angles of deviations as they get less deviated like Red, Orange etc and those which appear in the lower part have smaller wavelengths and therfore they get deviated more like Violet, Indigo etc. In this regard red has least deviations as it has the highest wavelength and violet has maximum deviation as it has least wavelength.
