Step 1: Arranging the given data in descending order Descending order = Arrange the numbers from largest to smallest from left to right
⇒ 4.1, 4.0, 3.9, 3.9, 3.8, 3.8, 3.7, 3.7, 3.6, 3.5, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1

Step 2: Determining the range Subtract smallest number from largest number .
Here, we observe Smallest number = 3.1 and
Largest number = 4.1
∵ Range = Largest Number − Smallest Number ∴Range=4.1−3.1=1.0
Hence, the range of given data is 1.
