Solution

The correct option is C 1,3,2,4
The National League for Democracy was formed in 1988. In 1989, Aung San Suu Kyi was put under house arrest for speaking in favour of democracy in Myanmar. There was international pressure on Myanmar in the form of economic sanctions; as a result, it was not able to import and export the products. Myanmar witnessed many political changes from the year 2008. The military junta conducted referendums. It was conducted over the change of name of the country to “Republic of Myanmar”.
