Solution

The correct option is D 2), 1), 3), 5), 4) , 7), 6)
On 22 February 1917, one of the factories on the side of river Neva was shut down by its employer. Workers organised a sympathy strike from over 50 factories. In many factories, women led the strikes, and this came to be called the International Women’s Day. On 25 February, the government suspended the third Duma as per the Tsar’s desire. On 26 February, the demonstrators attacked the police headquarters. The government tried to control the crowd using the cavalry. The cavalry refused to fire on the demonstrators. The Tsar, on the advice of his military commanders, abdicated the throne on 2 March 1917.
