Arrange the following in increasing order of acidic strength : haloalkane, halobenzene, primary alcohol, secondary alcohol, tertiary alcohol, phenol, ether, primary aldehyde, secondary aldehyde, tertiary aldehyde, ketone, carboxylic acid, aniline, alkyl amine, amide, azide and nitro compounds.

Dear Student,
The acidic strength of compounds will depend upon the capability of compound to give the H+ ion.
The most acidic will be the one which give the H+ ion easily in solution.
The order will be
nitrobenzene< azide<aniline < alkylamine < ether< tertiary alcohol< secondary alcohol< primary alcohol<ketone < tertiary aldehyde< secondsry aldehyde < primary aldehyde < phenol < carboxylic acid
