C. CARBON MONOXIDE

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,

The descending order with respect to their bonding capacity with Haemoglobin is as follows:
CO>CO2>O 2
Carbon monoxide is 200 times more faster in binding with haemoglobin than oxygen and carbon dioxide binds at a faster rate with haemoglobin than oxygen but is less efficient in binding when compared with carbon monoxide.
