Density is a measure of the amount of substance (mass) present per unit volume.

Particles in the solids are closely packed. They have very less or no space between them. So, the amount of substance packed in a unit volume is high. Thus, they have a high density.

Particles in the liquids have more space between them as compared to solids. Thus, they are less dense.

Particles of gases have large space between them. So, they have very low density.

Hence, the correct increasing order of density would be-
Air < Oil < Water < Brick
