The correct option is A I, III, IV, II
For the given isomers of hexadiene, the order of decreasing stability (least stable last) is
I>III>IV>II.
I is trans-trans, therefore most stable and II is cis-cis, therefore least stable.
Hence, the option C is correct answer. Note: trans double bond is more stable than cis double bond.
