Solution
To obtain pure crystals of salt, the impure salt is first dissolved in water until the solution becomes saturated with a small amount of undissolved salt left in it.
This saturated solution is then heated to allow excess salt to dissolve in water.
At last the pure salt crystals are collected over the filter paper as a residue and then dried.
