Solution

The correct option is A 1-> 2-> 3-> 4
Due to the rising internal conflicts, the Government of India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, decided to merge Hyderabad state with the Union of India in 1948.

In 1952, Hyderabad emerged as a democratic state under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Burgula Ramakrishna Rao.

By 1953, the other Telugu speaking regions of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema were carved out of Madras Presidency to form the state of Andhra. Tanguturi Prakasham became its Chief Minister.

After independence, demands for separate states on linguistic basis broke out. After years of deliberation, on 31st August 1956, the leaders of our nation enacted the States Reorganisation Act. The country was re-organised into 14 states and six Union Territories.
