Inorder to calculate the area of different objects or places, we use different units. Few among those units are centimetre square, metre square, hectare and kilometre square.
Centimetre square and metre square are used to calculate small area like laptop. While hectare (ha) is used to calculate big areas like fields. Kilometre square is even bigger unit which is used to measure areas of cities or even states.
$1{\text{m}}^2=10,000{\text{cm}}^2$
$1\text{ha}=10,000{\text{m}}^2$
$1{\text{km}}^2=100\text{ha}$
$\therefore {\text{cm}}^2<{\text{m}}^2<\text{ha}<{\text{km}}^2$
