The elements of group 1 are as follows: Hydrogen (H), Lithium (Li), Sodium (Na), Potassium (K), Rubidium (Rb), Caesium (Cs), Francium (Fr).

On moving from top to bottom in a group, the number of shells increases successively. Therefore, the increasing order of number of shells for group 1 elements is Li < Na < K < Rb < Cs < Fr.
