a) 1774: Louis XVI ascended the throne in France.
b) 1789: The Third Estate declared independence and formed the National Assembly.The Bastille, a famous prison in Paris was attacked.It marked the beginning of an open rebellion against the king.
c) 1791: A new Legislative Assembly was created by the National Assembly.
d) 1792: A new convention abolished monarchy and France was declared as a republic.
e) 1793; Louis XVI and his wife were executed for the crimes they committed.The Reign of Terror was created by the Jacobins.
f) 1804: Napoleon became the king of France.
g) 1815: The battle of Waterloo took place between the French army led by Napoleon and British army along with the allied armies organised by Austria, Prussia and Russia.
