A reflex action starts with a stimulus. Receptors in the sensory neurons present in the sense organs detect them.
Sensory neuron sends electrical impulses to adjacent neurons and finally to neurons located in the spinal cord of the CNS. These neurons connect sensory neurons to motor neurons.
