Solution

When a female Anopheles mosquito carrying the malaria causing pathogen bites a human, the pathogen (Plasmodium, a protozoan) enters the blood stream of the human. The pathogen travels through the bloodstream and reaches the liver. In the liver cells they start reproducing. After this the pathogen spreads in the body and symptoms start to appear.
