Question

Arrange the velocity in ascending order. 18 km/s,4000km/s,180km/mt

Open in App
Solution

To compare and place them in ascending order, All these three values should be in same unit . Here two of them are in km/s while third one is km/mt

Lets convert that to km/s

We know 1min(mt) = 60s

So 180km/mt = 180km/(60s) = 3km/s

So First one 18km/s
Second one 4000km/s
And third one 3km/s

And we can write the increasing order/ascending order as

3km/s < 18km/s < 4000km/s (Answer)

Or we can write

180km/mt < 18km/s < 4000km/s (Answer)
