Given: Selling price = ₹1600
Rate of discount = 20%

Marked price = ?

Let marked price be x.

We know that discount is on the marked price.
Discount = 20% of Marked price
Discount = 20100×x

Marked price = selling price + discount
x = 1600+20100×x
80100x=1600
x= 2000

Therefore, the marked price is ₹ 2000.
