S.P of which be Y
Loss %=(C.PS.P)/C.P×100
10=(xy)/x×100
x=10x10y
x=109×y
If he sold it for 54 more, he would made 8% profit
Profit %=(S.PC.P)/C.P×100
8=(y+54x)/x×100
8x=100y+5400100x
108x100y=5400
Plugging the value of x in above equation
108×10/9×y100y=5400
120y100y=5400
20=5400
y=270
