As Jack was walking towards the city, he was thinking about the math lecture he would have that day (if it was 2015). He always spared time for the kids because he believes that young minds are the way to a great future. He would teach the 7th students Data Handling. The other day, one of his students asked a question- “Is organized data more useful or unorganized data?”
Quite a doubt it was huh, he answered- “Of course, organized data are more useful because”
it is easy to understand and interpret than unorganized data
it is very hard to analyze unorganized data as the size of the data increases
Suppose you have a data set which contains weight of all the students in a class. If the class consists of 10 students, you can easily take a look at the data and tell who the heaviest or the lightest student is. But if the class size is 100 students, you have to go through 100 observations to find the heaviest or the lightest student. If this data is organized, say in ascending order, the student whose name comes, at last, is the heaviest and the student whose name comes at first is the lightest. Doesn’t organizing data make things easier?
