The correct option is D $30$ points
Weight of soda cans recycled by Ron $= 3 l b$
Weight of soda cans recycled by James $= 3 l b$ more than Ron $= 3 + 3 = 6 l b$

$5$ points are awarded for recycling $1$ pound of cans.
