Question

As told in the video of Krichoff's voltage law, that if we move from low potential to high potential aross a battery which is from negative terminal to positive terminal, the voltage gets added. So if we would have taken the direction of loop in the other way round i.e from high potential to low potential which is from positive to negative, would we substract it?

Solution

You can take any direction as positive. Here when you go through the loop if you assign low->high as positive it's opposite is negative so here if you reverse the direction of the loop the sign of the voltage reverses.Ie, you take voltage -ve
