as we know sound cannot pass through a vaccum, then if we call someone while we are in contact with the moon surface ,are we able to hear somethimg.since moon is a solid are we able to hear sound

Sound can travel through the surface of the moon. The surface of the moon is made up of solid sand. Sound can travel through solids, liquids and gases but it cannot travel through vacuum. As moon has no atmosphere, the sound produced above the surface of the moon will not be heard.
