Asexual mode of reproduction leads to more variation in the offspring as compared to sexual mode of reproduction.
Sexual mode of reproduction involves contribution of a set of chromosomes from both the parents and hence more variation is produced. In asexual mode of reproduction, only a single parent contributes both the sets of chromosomes and same set is transmited for generations together without variation. So the variation introduced in the offspring is more in sexual mode of reproduction as compared to asexual mode.
