B,C will be acute angles.
Sum of the angles in a triangle =180o
A+B+C=180
tanA=tan(180BC)
tanA=tan(B+C)
tanA=(tanB+tanC)(1tanAtanB)
tanA×(tanCtanB1)=(tanB+tanC)
(tanCtanB1)=(tanB+tanC)tanA
since, A is obtuse,tanA will be negative and B,C are acute,tanB,tanC will be positive.
tanBtanC1<0
The given assertion is false and Reason is true.
