The correct option is A Both Assertion and Reason are correct and Reason is the correct explanation for Assertion
In case of KCl we have,

π=iCRT, i=2

and in case of glucose, we have

π=iCRT,i=1

Hence, KCl solution has greater osmotic pressure because KCl is dissociates to produce number of particles(i =2).

Osmotic pressure in KCl solution increase due to dissociation.

Hence, option (A) is correct.
