The correct option is B Both Assertion and Reason are correct but Reason is not the correct explanation for Assertion
Buoyancy force is equal to the mass of liquid displaced. The density of body and liquid are different and but the center of gravity and center of buoyancy has the same point because the buoyancy force acts on the surface as the center of gravity. They may or may not equal but a point will remain the same.
Hence option B is correct.
