The correct option is B (A) is true but (R) is false.
The reaction of Cl with hot and conc. NaOH is as follows:
3Cl2+6NaOH5NaCl+NaClO3+3H2O
The oxidation state of chlorine is zero in reactant and in product it is -1 and +5 respectively. So it is disproportionation reaction.
The product are NaCl and NaClO3. Hence (R) is wrong.
