• Money plant has thin, long and weak stem which can not stand upright. It requires external support to grow. Therefore, it is a climber. It has special kinds of roots called aerial roots. These help the plant to cling and hence climb up a supporting structure.

• Creeper plants like watermelon and muskmelon have flexible, soft and weak green stem. Due to the size of the fruit they bear, creeper plants do not climb to other trees or structures for support. They grow horizontally along the ground and lack aerial roots.
