A secondary body cavity is found in chordates and many non-chordates. It exists between the body wall and the digestive tube and is lined on all sides by mesoderm.
Mode of origin is different in chordates and non-chordates. In annelids, molluscs and other arthropods, it is schizocoelous arising from the splitting of mesodermal bands, which originate from the blastoporal region. In echinoderms and higher chordates, it is enterocoelous, formed by the fusion and expansion of a liner series of hollow out pushings or pouches of the archenteron. Hence, option B is correct.
