The correct option is B Both A and R are true but R is not the correct explanation of A.
The whole country protested against the court-martial of INA officers like Shah Nawaz Khan, G. S Dhillon, and P. K Sehgal. Tej Bahadur Sapru and Bhulabhai Desai defended the INA which finally led to the release of all Prisoners of War. Though the INA did not see the independence of India the way it wanted, it played a major role in creating a sense of nationalism among the people. The Indian Navy revolted in 1946 due to service grievances and mistreatment which later included national concerns.
