When benzene reacts with CH3COCl in the presence of AlCl3 Acetophenone(C6H5COCH3) will form.
This is a electrophilic substitution reaction. It is popularly named as as friedal Craft's acylation reaction.

This “activated” electrophile can then be attacked by the nucleophile (the benzene ring) in an electrophilic aromatic substitution reaction.
