Transport of $C O_{2}$ by blood is much easier than that of oxygen due to high solubility of $C O_{2}$ in water.
Approximately 70% of $C O_{2}$ is transported through RBCs. This $C O_{2}$ enters into the RBC, where it reacts with water to form carbonic acid in the presence of carbonic anhydrase. most of the carbonic acid rapidly dissociates to form bicarbonate and hydrogen ions.
