Optical isomers are pair of molecules which are non-superimposable mirror image to each other.

Complexes containing three bidentate ligands show optical activity as shown in the figure since the mirror image is non-superimposable.

Octahedral complex [Co(NH3)4Cl2]Cl shows geometrical isomerism. Since, two different ligands Cl and NH3 are placed adjacent and opposite to similar ligands, this complex shows both cis-trans isomerism.
