X-ray crystallography is technique in which the pattern produced by the diffraction of X-rays through the closed spaced lattice of atoms in a crystal is recorded and then analyzed to reveal the nature of that lattice. The spacing in the crystal lattice can be determined using Braggs law. The regular spacing of the atoms in crystal is of the order of wavelength of X-rays (0.1 nm) because of which X-rays are diffracted from the crystals.
