By reducing the aperture the clear image is obtained and thus the sensitivity of camera increases. While in actual practice very large apertures give blurred images because of aberrations, so do very small apertures also but due to the phenomenon called diffraction. The best images are therefore generally obtained with intermediate apertures. Also the focusing of object at different distance is achieved by slightly altering the separation of the lens from the film. Hence correct option is C
