Given Assertion :
P(A)=P(B)
P(A¯B)+P(¯AB)=P(A)+P(B)2P(AB)
=P(AB)P(AB)
P(¯AB)=P(AB)P(AB)P(¯AB)
But,P(¯AB)=P(B)P(AB) [Reason]
So, if A ξ B are two events with P(A)=P(B), but P(¯AB) cannot be determined.
Hence, the answer is Both Assertion and reason are individually true and reason is correct explanation of Assertion.
