As x=1 is root of f(x)=0
f(x)=(x+1)(ax+b)
Also f(1)+f(2)=0
2(a+b)+3(2a+b)=0
8a+5b=0
ba=85 = other root
Assertion (A) and Reason (R) both are correct but Reason (R) is not proper explanation of Assertion (A).
