The correct option is A Both Assertion and Reason are correct and Reason is the correct explanation for Assertion
Let three positive real numbers are a,ar,ar2
a+ar>ar2,i.e.r2r1<0 ...(i)
And a+ar2>ar,i.e.r2r+1>0 ....(ii)
Also a+ar2>a,i.e.r2+r1>0 ....(iii)
Now from (i),(ii) & (iii) we have 512<r<5+12
Assertion (A) & Reason (R) both are correct & Reason (R) is also tbe correct explanation of Assertion (A).
