Assertion :In a Meter Bridge experiment, null point for unknown resistance is measured. Now, the unknown resistance is put inside an enclosure maintained at a higher temperature. The null point can be obtained at the same point as before by decreasing the value of the standard resistance. and Reason: Resistance of a metal increases with increase in temperature.

The correct option is B Both Assertion and Reason are correct but Reason is not the correct explanation for Assertion
In meter bridge, we make the circuit like balanced wheatstone bridge as shown in the figure.
R1R2=RR3
If we change the value of R we can adjust the ratio by changing other resistances. The resistance increases with increase in temperature but it does not explains the reason correctly.
