• The first statement is wrong because the alcohol is not converted into glucose but it is converted into aldehyde and then to $C{O}_2$ and $H_{2}O$.
• In second statement also , the glucose is not produced .The alcohol react and form -- Ethyl alcohol (alcohol) --> Acetate --> Acetyl CoA --> $C{O}_2$ + $H_{2}O$ . So, both statements are wrong. Hence, Option D is correct.
