With increase in n, the value of Vn
Reason
Velocity of electrons is inversely proportional to radius of the orbit.
Vn=2.165×106×Znm/s
But
rn=0.53×n2Z
rn0.53×n=nZ
Hence,
Vn=2.165×106×Znm/s
Vn=2.165×106×0.53×nrnm/s
