In Fe2+,
Number of protons = 26,
Number of electrons = 24,
Number of neutrons = 30
and, Ionic mass of Fe2+=56 g/mol.

Therefore, Ionic mass = No. of neutron + no. of proton

Also, no. of the electron in a neutral species = No. of proton

Hence, option A is correct.
