In polydentate ligands several donor atoms are present in single ligand and complex is formed by attachment of two or more donor atoms of the same ligand molecule. N(CH2CH2NH2)3 has 4 donor atoms. EDTA has 6 donor atoms. Hence both are polydentate ligands.
