Reynolds number a dimensionless number used in fluid mechanics to indicate whether fluid flow past a body or in a duct is steady or turbulent. Flow with Reynolds number less than 2000 is laminar flow. Flow with Reynolds number greater than 4000 is turbulent.
Poiseuille's Law-It states that the flow (Q) of fluid is related to a number of factors: the viscosity (n) of the fluid, the pressure gradient across the tubing (P), and the length (L) and diameter(r) of the tubing. This law is valid for fluid which are laminar flow.
