We know that
AMGM

ex+ex2
x2>0
So, ex+ex>2+x2
Thus, the assertion is correct.
f(x)=ex+ex2x2
f(x)=ex+ex2x2
f(x)=f(x)
i.e. function is symmetric about y-axis
So it can not be increasing function.
Thus, the reason 2 is incorrect.
