By the Newton's second law of motion,
force F=ma
where a= acceleration of the body and m= mass of the body

Thus, a=Fm

So, acceleration depends on the mass m and since acceleration is inversely proportional to mass, so larger mass will produce less acceleration.

Hence, option B is correct , the correct explanation is Newton's second law of motion
