The correct option is A Both Assertion and Reason are correct and Reason is the correct explanation for Assertion
Due to friction, energy is transferred to the air inside tyre and hence its temperature increases. Now as per charles law, since the volume of the tyre remains constant, hence PαT and thus pressure of gas in the tyre increases.

Thus, both the statements are correct and second is correct explanation of the first.
