pH=7+ 0.5 pKa + 0.5 log C
Hence, pH will always greater than 7 and the solution will be basic.
CF3COOH is stronger acid than CH3COOH. CF3COOH has higher Ka value and lower pKa value than CH3COOH.
Hence, the aqueous solution of CF3COONa+ is less basic than the aqueous solution of CH3COONa+ for same concentration of salt.
